We would like to invite former DAAS members to restore their association with the NEW DAAS. We had a hiatus in communication and then cofounder Raglan Riviere passed away. We owe Raglan a huge debt of gratitude for his dedication to the DAAS mission. The NEW DAAS website has been upgraded by Raglan's daughter, Jacqueline Pearson, and we remain committed to our DAAS mission. The website is open to all for the exchange of ideas and as a repository of information about Dominica. As Raglan originally envisioned, we plan to be a vehicle for informed and spirited discussion of the social and economic issues facing our island. We are particularly interested in a civil communion of on-island perceptions and Diaspora experience. We encourage you to join us in this quest. The disaster that hurricane Maria has been makes this quest, and communion of minds, particularly urgent.
